The Knicks waived guard Theo Pinson on Thursday, then re-signed him Sunday to a two-way contract.

The Knicks opened up a two-way contract spot for Pinson last week when they waived Kenny Wooten.

Pinson is another player represented by Creative Artists Agency, the sports agency that Leon Rose ran before taking the job as president of the New York Knicks.

Rose is a fan of Pinson, per Marc Berman of the NY Post. In fact, Leon Rose cut Allonzo Trier and signed Theo Pinson off waivers this past June – one of his first moves as president.

Now, Pinson is back with the Knicks on a two-way deal. He averaged 3.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists for the Brooklyn Nets last season. He’s considered a good locker-room guy and a solid defender with a 6’11” wingspan.
