Dennis Smith Jr. (contused left quad) and Immanuel Quickley (sore left hip) have officially been ruled out for Tuesday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The news was made official by the Knicks’ PR twitter account.
The account confirmed that DSJ will not travel to Cleveland so he can rehab his quad and will likely rejoin the team during their current four-game roadtrip.
Kevin Knox (sore knee) is listed as probable and Alec Burks (sprained ankle) is questionable. Austin Rivers (sore groin), Omari Spellman (sore right knee) and Obi Toppin (strained right calf) also remain out for the time being.
The Knicks take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night then head to Tampa, FL where the Toronto Raptors are currently playing home games due to Canadian travel restrictions from the coronavirus.
