Former Knick Nate Robinson suffered a brutal knockout loss in his exhibition fight against Youtuber, Jake Paul in the undercard of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. PPV spectacle.
Paul caught Nate with a mean rabbit punch to drop him in Round 1. Then in Round 2, things went south, fast:
It was a valiant effort by Nate, who set out to prove that he could step into the boxing ring, but he was no match for Paul, the much more seasoned fighter (2-0). NBA Twitter went off after Robinson’s crushing defeat with reactions and memes:
It wasn’t a complete L for Knicks fans. Many thought that Nate’s Orange and Blue in ring attire was a tribute to the Knicks, but it was actually to his high school in Ranier Beach, Seattle, WA. We stand corrected.
